Industrial plant & equipment

Industrial mechanical and pump services

Mechanical maintenance, pump servicing and rotating equipment work on industrial plant across Brisbane and South East Queensland.

Mechanical work on plant and equipment in factories, warehouses and processing facilities — rebuilding a gearbox, replacing an electric motor, changing out a pump, getting a conveyor running again. This work falls outside QBCC building work, so we contract for it directly.

It is hands-on mechanical fitting, not project management. You get the person doing the work on the phone, a diagnosis rather than a parts list, and an itemised price before anything is pulled apart.

Where the licensing line sits

Pump and hydraulic services within commercial buildings are regulated plumbing work. We carry that work out as a subcontractor to the licensed plumbing or hydraulic contractor — they hold the licence, we provide the mechanical capability. Pumps and rotating equipment on industrial plant, and mechanical works on water and wastewater infrastructure, sit outside that regime and are contracted directly. This keeps every job correctly licensed.

Common questions

Before you call

Can you contract directly for pump work?
On industrial plant and equipment, yes. Pumps and rotating equipment in factories, processing facilities and industrial sites sit outside QBCC building work, so we contract for that directly. Pump and hydraulic services inside commercial buildings are regulated plumbing work — we carry that out as a subcontractor to the licensed plumbing or hydraulic contractor.
What electrical work can you do?
We hold Electrical Contractor Licence 1512430, covering a defined scope on industrial equipment: disconnection and reconnection of electric motors, testing and tagging of portable electrical equipment, and electrical work on composite industrial equipment. Work beyond that scope goes to a contractor holding a full electrical licence.
Do you do breakdown callouts?
Yes. We take breakdown and reactive callouts across Brisbane and South East Queensland, including after hours, to minimise plant downtime.
Are you set up for confined space work?
Yes. Trained, ticketed and equipped for confined space entry including atmospheric testing and breathing apparatus, so pump station, wet well and plant work does not need a separate confined space crew.
